Our 19th Wedding Anniversary

I can’t believe that it’s been 19 years! They go by so quickly.

Unbelievable to think that within six months of meeting each other we were married. (When you just know, why silly dally?! 🤣)

Every year we celebrate our anniversary by treating ourselves to a dinner at a local restaurant. We decided to try Bank at Carnegie which is a laid back pub style place mainly for groups to gather and eat casual meals.

We ordered most of the small plates and each of them were “taste explosions”. The saganaki with the cinnamon vanilla infused grapes was the best I’ve tasted so much so that I had to express my delight with the food to the chef (who later came to the table and talked about her wonderful dishes)

We told them that we were celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary and they gave us tiramisu for dessert on the house! (That was also delicious).

Next year will be our 20th and the tradition there is to visit Phillip Island where every ten years, we visit the place where we honeymooned and take photos of ourselves in the exact pose, exact same place but ten years apart.

Can’t wait for that. 🤣
