This book was recommended by one of the ladies in my book group as a quick, if not, a creepy read.

A woman is so in love with her husband that she does everything just to spend time with him (at the expense of everyone and anything else). She also gives him little “tests” that he has no idea about and if he doesn’t pass according to her standards, she’ll make him pay for them in some way.

Crazy right?! 🤣

An immersive read. Maybe I should have read it in the original French but then again, all the nuance and weirdness would have been lost on me.

Well worth a read if you want something light and quick.
