Recently I read a book translated from French called The Kids Run the Show (or in French, Les Enfants Sont Rois) by Delphine De Vigan.

I’ve read some of her other books and liked them so when I saw this latest one on the shelf at the local library, I borrowed it.

It kept me enthralled throughout and also put into context, what happens behind the scenes with those YouTube families who focus on their children’s lives as the show. What they endorse, how they promote sponsors and products and the deep psychological impact and effect on the children.

I think this would be a great book for book clubs for its themes that we are only seeing now in today’s society of the impact of social media and YouTube on our lives.
