I bought some new books that were on a sale at Dymocks which is a book seller here in Australia.

As a member of their Book Club, there’s various events and discounts for their members at certain times of the year so it was time to stock up on some Shirley Jackson and John Williams so I could have their entire works on our bookshelf.

Over the last few years, I’ve been slowly getting rid of my non-fiction business and technology books and replacing them with fiction (mainly literary and classics).

As I read them, if the author and their writing don’t inspire, enchant or overwhelm me with their beauty of words or stories, or pack a punch with deep meaning about life and the universe or even if I don’t identify with the character, I move them on.

Give them to second hand book stores or to others.

I want my home filled with words and music.
