A bowling alley, arcade and mini golf course (putt putt) has recently opened up near where we live. We live near an industrial estate and a lot of the factories are now closing down and the area gentrified with boutique breweries, gyms, cafes and restaurants. The new trend to to build these “experiences”.

I’m not complaining per se because it means that Andrew and I can go out and have a good night out five minutes away from home rather than driving into town.

Tonight I booked us to play 18 holes at Holey Moley and it was a lot of fun. We got competitive with each other but Andrew won by a few points tonight. Afterwards, rather than go out and eat at a nearby restaurant, we opted for a casual meal at the bar there with nachos, tacos and sliders all downed with a glass of beer.

Looking around the place, we were the oldest people there but we had a lot of fun. We even wore the Holey Moley free caps 🧢 they gave us. 🤣
