I have to say that I have a decent library of books collected over the years.
During my working years, I spent a lot of money on buying decent text books and reference books on topics related to my field in Learning and Development. However, they are now taking up space on my shelves where I’d like to instead shelve my literary collection instead.
So it’s time for a grand sale!

Over the coming weeks and months, I will add to this site and sell off as much as I can. I’m selling most books for $5 (postage paid by buyer) or they can at least make me an offer on any books they would want.
Check out my eBay Seller page here or I have created a link in the navigation bar of this website directly to “My Book Store”.
If there are any books of interest that you’d like to buy directly, just contact me through this website and make me an offer.

Did that not take forever to set up? I’ve used bulk book buying services in the past where you scan the barcode and it does the rest, but they set the price and don’t buy everything. I’m tempted to follow your example…

I thought it would take longer in all honesty. I downloaded the eBay app onto my phone and then under ‘Selling’, you take a photo of the ISBN code and it automatically fills in all the details! I was amazed that I didn’t have to input all these thankfully. There were a couple of books that didn’t already have a photo preloaded as well – or the photos were different colours than the actual real book I had, so all I did was re-take the photo of my book and upload.
The other details I put in were the delivery options (I only opted for local delivery – no pick ups as I didn’t want people coming to my house and no international delivery). The local costs of delivery were automatically pre-loaded so I just selected the appropriate package size based on weight of the book (which is all pre-loaded when you scan the ISBN).
Each book to upload onto the eBay site took about a minute. That’s it. Very quick! I’ve already sold a couple of books.
My issue is that now that I have stopped social media, I can’t advertise/promote the link to people and I’ve just been sending the link out to people/friends/family should anyone want any of the books, I can give them for free to people I know.
The eBay app made it very easy – and very quick.
