I’ve decided to add another icon on my Home page of this site and along the right banner of each page that shows that all writing on this site is created by me – and not by a bot like ChatGPT or the myriad of others that we will soon be seeing.
When I created this site back in the day, we had Creative Commons which was *some* semblance pretending that we had some control over what we wrote and how people used it. Now that seems a bit quaint and outdated in the face of AI and the scraping and use of all content online by AI.
The cynic in me tells me that the use of such disclaimers will be irrelevant as over time, we really wouldn’t know what’s reality and what’s not anymore.
What was written by a human or a machine.
But I’ll say it anyway, for old times sake… You know, because disclaimers like this make us believe that we can control our content and its use.
All writing here on this site was done by a human.
Me, and not a bot, is tapping on this keyboard and writing in a somewhat cynical and amusing manner. However, over time, I know that AI will copy my style and manner.
Until then, it’s all me.
When it’s not, well…..we’ll have bigger problems to worry about than that.
[…] I’ve already added on my own website that I don’t use as a disclaimer of sorts in https://activatelearning.com.au/2023/05/all-writing-is-human/ […]
