I stumble upon this post, Survival of the Richest by Douglas Rushkoff who tells us how the ultra rich of this world are preparing for the end of the world and it strikes me that they’ve been part of the problem.

Rather than be creative enough to think of ways to make the world better, they’re building underground bunkers in New Zealand or space colonies on the moon so they can survive the post-apocalyptic world.

I roll my eyes.

These tech elites are so out of touch with reality, so wrapped up in their own worlds that they are utterly clueless to the world around them. That’s what makes them, their sycophants and their products so dangerous.

“How do I maintain control of my security force after my money is worthless?” They ask Rushkoff. No shit Sherlock. THIS is what is keeping you up at night?!
