I have been doing the Goodreads Reading challenge since 2012 and this year, I had set myself the challenge to read 70 books which I achieved. The books I read this year were heavily focussed on authors from other countries (mainly Belgium, France, The Netherlands, Spain, Argentina and Japan) and a spattering of literature.
There is ONE book that is currently not on this list as it will be a longer read. I started reading it on 4 December and can’t see myself finishing it before the end of February and that is, Leo Tolstoy’s War and Peace – which is far becoming one of the best books I have read in all of my life and giving me an appreciation for reading BIG books.
