Tuesday will be my last day of work.

Tonight, I deleted the work apps off my phone.

Stopping work means I also stop using all Microsoft products and apps because I will need to return the work laptop (and I’m on Apple tech for my personal tech).

On Friday night, someone asked me what I do for a living.

I had no idea how to answer the question.

In-between jobs? Unsure. I get a feeling that finding work will be far more difficult because of my grey hair and age.

Retired? Nah too early.

Freelance? I tried this with my own business but failed so I closed it down and referred all work and leads to my employer.

I answered the question, “enjoying life, reading books, spending time with family, learning French and playing golf.”

I’ve not been successful in ways that others have online through building businesses, making tonnes of money or having successful careers. Maybe I can excel at enjoying life for now.
