Today after doing a bit of gutter cleaning while the tradespeople worked on our back yard, I decided to come back into the house and contemplate what’s next on my ‘To Do’ list.
It’s a bit weird to not have things to do to a certain time line – time, well, it’s open now. I can choose what to do when – or choose to do nothing at all.
It’s okay to have days where I do nothing at all.
I saw this short film today which was quite moving and should be a lesson for me when I feel I have to plan and organise my day so that I’m constantly doing stuff.
Here are some things that stood out for me:
“I have beauty around me to feel wealthy.”
“I was paid to think and now I need to not think” (YES!)
“Logic creates cement into peoples heads which aren’t allowing them to think in new ways.”
“How do we find wealth without feeling the need to exploit everything?”
“Everything comes to you in incredible richness”
“Do nothing”
“We have adapted to scarcity, people exclude you through their body language. The intimacy of the world is to be and feel vital and alive. Just play, just be.”
