My last day of work is 11 October.
What shall I do afterwards?
No idea.
Part of me is comfortable with not knowing, not planning, not scheduling, not caring.
I’m looking forward to just giving space – I don’t have to fill it with anything except for that which truly makes me happy.
But do you know what I’m looking forward to the most?
Spending more time with my parents and my family.
That’s it really.
Everything else, come what may.

All the best, Helen, with this new stage of your life. I look forward to hearing what your next adventure evolves to be, whether that be adventuring in your head while lying in your hammock or adventuring in the physical world in some way.

Thank you! 🙂

Your willingness to make change in your life when required is inspiring, it takes great self-awareness to know when environmental or personal change is required. I commend you. I do think, however, it is time for the writing of yours (& Shazza’s) memoir. 🙂 Have fun xx

Omg April. I’ve been thinking about you lately. I’ve been asking Andrew to contact you so that I can give you my phone number. I’d love to know how you and the family are going. Thanks for the reply here, I’ll ask him to send you my details so we can DM/chat to each other.

enjoy! … You will probably be busier than while working, but with stuff that has meaning to you.

Thank you Marika, I certainly hope so! For now, I’m planning to do nothing. Maybe except spring clean the house which needs a deep clean. Beyond that? Who knows! 🤣
