Today I talked about Link Rot which was a new concept I had discovered in my research for my curation presentation. I go through my process for how I plan my presentation and redo my mind map opting for post it notes on a large board instead.

Today I talk about my presentation again (obviously it’s the main thing I’m working on) and then spend the rest of the time talking about the learning challenge of learning how to read music and play the ukulele. I’ve decided to revisit the ukulele because playing it kept my mind active and most of all, off electronic devices.

On Wednesday it was all about Yammer and MSIgnite which was a conference that was hosted by Microsoft in Orlando this week. Today I checked through the tweets and sat through an hour long presentation on the newest updates of Yammer. I really don’t know why people bag Yammer or prefer other social networks – truly, they’re all the same (with some minor functionality) but in my experience, the people who complain about it are usually the people who have never used it or explored it to its fullest potential. I have to remember this at times because the vocal ones are usually the ones who have to hide something…

It was a public holiday in Melbourne on Friday to celebrate the up and coming Grand Final. My husband and I went into town to partake in the revelry and celebration. Over 150 000 people had the same idea and we got to see the passion of the Tiger supporters.
The outcome of the game the day after? WE WON! PREMIERS FOR 2017! GO TIGES!!
