Over a year ago, I created a couple of resources for Work Out Loud Week that I’d like to share here again for International Work Out Loud Week on 7-13 November 2016.
If you’re scratching your head with a lack of ideas of what you can share, show and demonstrate, these resources will help you.
If you’re thinking, “but no-one will find what I’m doing interesting!” or “I’m going to run out of ideas before the end of the week!” then this resource will give you new ideas.
It doesn’t matter what enterprise system or platform you want to use either. Whether it’s Yammer, SharePoint, Slack, Microsoft Teams…whatever, here’s some simple daily activities that you can do to start the habit.

Work Out Loud in a Month (Download for $AUS 2.99) – a 4 week pack of working out loud activities
One week is really not enough to get the ball rolling with conversations, interactions, and engagements with people in your organisation. There may be people hanging back from responding or replying or starting a conversation with you so the secret to working out loud is that you need to be consistent and sharing something every single day because this builds trust and credibility. More people are likely to engage with you if you consistently share and show what you’re working on (and they will remember you).
This month guide will prompt you to share what you’re working on and learning and give you a small task to do and share out to your organisation every day. Swap around the weeks – or do the same week. No task will take longer to complete than five minutes. It is designed with you in mind. You can use it as your daily prompt to share what you’re working on, you can use it individually or you can use it as a team where you’re each sharing what you’re working on.
