It’s Saturday afternoon but it feels like a lazy Sunday. I’ve been in my pyjamas all day just reading my novel and doing crossword puzzles and napping. At 3pm I decide to go for a slow walk to the park. Things seem to take a gargantuan effort for me to do sometimes. I decide I may need to visit a GP next week. Something’s not quite right but it may just be the winter blues.
The afternoon sunshine was welcome and it lifted my mood somewhat. I watched a middle aged couple take their elderly parents for a walk around the park; then watched a couple of toddlers run around after a football. The parrots were out in force too. I’m noticing the plants are budding with little blooms. Spring is coming.
