October 2022
It dawned on me that packing up my office tech at home, I had no colleagues in real life around me. It wasn’t “the office”.
My tradesperson was the person who I shared my last day of work. He was the one who congratulated me and wished me all the best in person.
Weird state of virtual work….
Here’s the video – I felt I had to take footage of this.
Day later:
A return to the city office for my final goodbye and a return of the laptops.
A lovely lunch at the Mitre Tavern with my fellow Melbourne colleagues and with my ex-boss Paul who had flown down from Brisbane and now I’m on the train heading home.
A fitting end to a chapter in my life. The last four or so years with Adopt & Embrace was a blast and in the last year at Rapid Circle, enjoyed meeting people from around the world.
Next step is into the unknown.
