The most underrated piece of kit any home to have is the hot water bottle.
…and flannelette bed sheets
…and flannelette pyjamas
…and hand knitted woollen socks
But mainly the hot water bottle.
If I was a poet, I’d write a poem to my beloved hot water bottle. It’s THAT important in my life 🤣.
I turn off our heating during the day to save a bit of money over winter so a hot water bottle and a blanket is enough to keep me (and the cat warm).
Every evening, I fill it up with hot water and put it in bed too to keep my feet warm and ensure I can fall asleep quickly. It’s my nightly winter ritual of cosiness and warmth.
I love winter.
