Corellas on the Course

October 2022

This morning I headed out to Woodlands Golf Course to have a bit of practice putting and chipping. It was the first bit of sunshine we had in over a week of constant rain and floods. I had to get out of the house to experience the sunlight on my skin. It was glorious!

I didn’t end up playing as there was some competition on and there were many people out on the course. Instead I hung around at the practice range below where I was the only one there for two hours.

The corellas were out in force on the tee. They were crazy ripping into the ground of the hole. Methinks they were trying to find worms? They were ripping up the green but I didn’t mind that much. I find these birds wonderful to watch. They’re everywhere around our local area and hang around in large groups.
Look at the damage they were doing! They weren’t even scared when I came close to take a photo. 🤣

It made putting difficult that’s for sure!
